Groupthink
is a workplace comedy web series about two best friends Cynthia and Pilar, who have recently acquired a marketing research company by way of Cynthia’s unfortunate recent divorce. Their mission is to make Groupthink the most successful market research group in the San Fernando Valley area … without killing each other first.The episodes run approximately 2 to 3 minutes in length and follow the women’s twin obsessions – the products they’ve been hired to research – and themselves. Their website is here Groupthink

Angela Espinosa Co-creator/writer/director/producer/actor.Angela was an original cast member of the hit comedy web series Goodnight Burbank, where she played series regular Trisha Sakamoto. Since then Angela Espinosa has used her past experience in Web episodics to help create the world of Groupthink. With a background in both improvisation and consulting Angela has been making things up in front of people for most of her life. She was a consultant with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, traveling the world as part of their ASE division. After a few years she then took the next natural step and went into improv. She has trained at the Groundlings, UCB, Second City and The Empty Stage – where fellow classmate Sandeep Parihk (Legend of Neil, The Guild) cast her as series regular Femme Fantastic in The Good Guys. Angela performs improv regularly and co-founded the long-form group The Merry Lincolns. She is also a member of Monkey Shines (short-form).
Wendy Rosoff Co-creator/writer/director/producer/editor/actor. Film and Television include: The Prestige, Cabin Fever 2, Getting To Know You, and most recently a pilot for ABC called Good Behavior. She is an original cast member of the hit comedy web series Goodnight Burbank as series regular Zoe Travis. On the stage, Wendy has been seen on Broadway, regionally and in National and European tours. She has performed at Carnegie Hall and was recorded for the Great Performances Series in the PBS televised special My Favorite Broadway: The Leading Ladies of Broadway as one of Broadway’s up and coming leading ladies. A few favorite credits include Irving Berlin’s White Christmas (Rita) under the direction of Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular (Mrs. Claus), A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden under the direction of Tony Award winner Susan Stroman, and the Tony Award winning revival of 42nd St. choreographed by Tony Award nominated Randy Skinner. Last year Wendy wrote, produced, co-choreographed and starred in a one woman show called Confessions Of A Christmas Banshee that premiered in Los Angeles to critical acclaim. In addition, she’s been seen singing and dancing on The Tony Awards, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and The Today Show among others. Most recently Wendy served as producer, writer and director on a short called “The End†about a poor unfortunate soul who reaches the end of the internet. To see The End go to click here. Thomas Burns
Director of Photography. Thomas is a Los Angeles-based cinematographer with shooting credits in both the fiction and non-fiction genres. He holds a Master’s degree in documentary film production from Stanford University, where one of his films received a Student Academy Award, and was nominated for the ASC/John Seitz Heritage award for outstanding work in the field of motion picture photography. His non-fiction work has appeared on PBS, The Discovery Channel, ESPN, The History Channel, and his fiction work has screened at the Sundance FIlm Festival, the South by Southwest film festival, and many others around the world.
